Gruss vom Krampus!!!

“A sinister noise emerges from the depths of the alpine woods…

With Dràkon’s magic, an ancient creature awakens. Will it bring joy or terror?”

Make sure you have behaved well during the year…

The Krampus is a folk figure typical of the Alpine area, it is probably what remains of some pre-Christian cults typical of the solstitial period, cults focused on fertility, ancestors, life, death, time and the order/chaos dichotomy. It was the personalization of the winter sun, therefore of the cold and its dangers, but with it the new promise of light. Subsequently, he was included in Christian folklore as a figure opposed to St. Nikolaus, with a negative meaning. In the Alpine territories, Krampus Day is celebrated on December 5th, where he is free to travel around the country and punish those who have not been virtuous during the year.

Dràkon Krampus, a ruby red, sweet and spicy mead, dedicated to an ancient folklore tradition of the Alps. Linden honey aromatically characterizes this mead.

The combination of the gingerbread spices (Lebkuchen), the chosen flowers and fruits, give body to this drink.
